Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha is set to visit Dhalai District on November 13 to unveil a series of major infrastructure and development projects aimed at enhancing connectivity, healthcare services, and overall civic amenities in the region.
During his visit, the Chief Minister will lay the foundation stones for Harat Chandra HS School and the Durga Chaumuhani RD Block, signaling a significant investment in education and rural development in the district.
One of the key highlights of the event will be the virtual inauguration of eight Health and Wellness Centres under the Salema, Durga Chaumuhani, and Ambassa RD Blocks, as well as three new Sub-Centres under the Ambassa Block. This move is expected to greatly improve access to healthcare services for residents in the area.
In a major step towards strengthening healthcare infrastructure, CM Saha will also virtually inaugurate 48 newly built staff quarters for health officials at the Ambassa Dhalai District Hospital, a move that is anticipated to enhance healthcare delivery in the region.
The visit will also see the inauguration of a double-storey shelter home for urban homeless residents and the newly constructed RTC building developed by Punjab National Bank, underscoring the government’s commitment to addressing social welfare issues.
Furthermore, the Chief Minister is scheduled to lay the foundation stone for the Ganganagar–Gandachara Road and inaugurate an RCC footbridge under the Ambassa Block. Several development projects under the Ambassa Municipal Council will also be launched virtually, showcasing a holistic approach to infrastructure development in the district.
These initiatives, spearheaded by various government departments including Rural Development, Urban Development, PWD, and Health, are part of the state government’s broader strategy to promote balanced regional growth and inclusive development across Tripura.
Officials believe that these projects will not only improve road connectivity and healthcare access but also elevate living standards in Dhalai District, reflecting the government’s commitment to fostering sustainable development and prosperity in the region.
