Agartala, May 13, 2025: In a powerful address during the Tripura Police Constable Appointment event, Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha revealed a major drop in the state’s crime rate.
According to him, crime in Tripura fell by 19.4% in 2024 compared to the previous year. He added that the first four months of 2025 already show a 10% decline.
CM Warns Against Irresponsible Use of Social Media
CM Saha issued a stern warning regarding social media misuse.
“People post whatever they want. We are watching. If limits are crossed, strict action will follow,” he cautioned.
He highlighted that the state relies solely on factual data and evidence-based governance.
975 New Constables Join Tripura Police
At the event held in Agartala’s Rabindra Shatabarshiki Bhavan, 975 appointment letters were distributed. These included 332 for women and 643 for men.
“No middleman, no favoritism—just merit,” the CM affirmed.
“This day is unforgettable for those who worked hard to earn these positions.”
