In a significant move to boost tourism and economic development, the Government of Tripura has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL), renowned for operating the Taj Group of Hotels, to establish a heritage five-star hotel in Agartala.

- Strategic Partnership: The collaboration aims to set up a luxury heritage hotel featuring exclusive royal suites and numerous premium rooms, targeting high-end tourists, including international visitors arriving via chartered flights.
