The Tripura Sports Council and the Tripura Kho Kho Association have jointly announced a crucial selection trial to be held at the Umakanta Academy Kho Kho Ground in Agartala on March 20th, 2025, at 11:00 AM. This trial aims to select the Tripura teams for the upcoming NE-Zone Junior Boys’ & Girls’ National Kho Kho Championship, scheduled from March 24th to 26th, 2025, in Tinsukia, Assam, and the 57th Senior National Kho Kho Championship 2024-2025.
All Kho Kho players from various subdivisions, districts, and across Tripura are cordially invited to participate in this selection trial. Minuti Pal, Secretary of the Tripura Kho Kho Association, emphasized the importance of this event in identifying and nurturing talented players for national-level competitions.
The organizers have also extended a special invitation to all electronic and print media journalists to cover the event. This selection trial is considered a significant step towards promoting and developing Kho Kho in Tripura.
