The Tripura Legislative Assembly in Agartala marked the anniversary of its relocation from the historic Ujjayanta Palace to its current premises with a special ceremony and tree plantation drive on Tuesday. The move, which took place on July 22, 2011, was a significant milestone in the Assembly’s history since its establishment in 1963.
Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha presided over the ceremony, where he highlighted the Assembly’s important role in strengthening democracy and governance in Tripura. He emphasized the Assembly’s commitment to serving the people of the state and reflected on its rich past.
“This day serves as a reminder of the Assembly’s glorious history and its ongoing dedication to the people of Tripura,” said Dr. Saha.
