On August 19th, World Photography Day was celebrated around the world with appropriate pomp and ceremony. In observance of World Photography Day, a three-day photography exhibition was organized at the Rabindra Centenary Hall in Agartala, Tripura, by the Tripura Photojournalist Association. The event was attended by dignitaries such as Sushant Chowdhury, Minister of Tourism and Transport, Deepak Majumdar, Mayor of Agartala Municipal Corporation, Bimbisar Bhattacharya, official of the Department of Information and Culture, Pronab Sarkar, President of the Agartala Press Club, Krishnendu Chakraborty, Director General of Police, Pralayjit Pal, President of the Tripura Photojournalist Association, and others.
The event was inaugurated by Fita Kete and Pradip Prajjalon, who welcomed the esteemed guests.
