The sixth death anniversary of Dilip Sarkar, the beloved former minister and late MLA of Badharghat Assembly Constituency, was observed on Tuesday. The day was marked with a blood donation camp and a “Daridra Narayan Seva” (service to the poor) event held at his residence in Charipara.
Numerous admirers and well-wishers paid their respects by offering floral tributes to his portrait. The event was attended by prominent figures, including Minarani Sarkar, the current MLA of Badharghat and Dilip Sarkar’s younger sister, BJP Sadar District President Asim Bhattacharya, Deputy Mayor Monika Das Dutta, Corporator Alok Roy, Corporator Abhijit Mallick, and other dignitaries.
