Tripura royal scion and founder of the Tipra Motha Party, Pradyot Kishore Manikya Debbarma, has spoken out against the recent comments made by leaders in India’s neighboring countries in the wake of the tragic terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir.
Pradyot strongly condemned the remarks made by the Army General of Pakistan and the Chief Advisor of the government of Bangladesh, calling their language “simply unacceptable.” He emphasized that “silence doesn’t bring justice, and fear doesn’t build peace,” urging India to respond to these provocative statements.
In a statement, Pradyot expressed his concern over the lack of democratic accountability in these neighboring countries, noting that the leaders making these inflammatory remarks are not answerable to their own voters. He called for a strong and measured response from India in the face of such aggression.
The terror attack in Pahalgam has left the nation reeling, and Pradyot’s words serve as a reminder of the importance of standing up against injustice and defending peace. India must not remain silent in the face of such provocations, but must instead take a firm stance in defense of its sovereignty and security.
