Agartala, Tripura: The Tripura Tea Development Corporation (TTDC) on Tuesday held a press conference at Bir Chandra Library, Agartala, to announce the upcoming Run for Tea and Cross Country Race 2025, scheduled to be held on December 17.
Addressing the media, officials of the corporation stated that the event is being organised to promote Tripura tea, encourage fitness among youth, and raise public awareness about the state’s tea industry. The run will feature a cross-country race format, attracting participants from different age groups and backgrounds.
The organisers informed that the event will combine sports, health awareness, and branding of Tripura tea on a single platform. Necessary arrangements are being made to ensure smooth conduct of the race, including safety measures, route planning, and participant registration.
