Amtali Police Station has arrested an accused in connection with the fraud of lakhs of rupees in the name of providing jobs at Tripura University. Police are searching for several others suspected to be involved in this incident.
The accused person had taken large sums of money from job seekers, promising to get them jobs at Tripura University. However, after not getting the jobs, the victims complained to the police. Based on the complaint, Amtali Police Station started an investigation.
