The slogan “No to drugs, Yes to jobs” was brought to the forefront by the Tripura Pradesh Youth Congress, who organized an extended meeting at Agartala Muktadhara Hall. Present at the event were Congress Party MLA Sudip Roy Burman, MLA Birjit Sinha, Youth Congress leader Nilkamal Saha, among others.
The meeting aimed to address the issue of unemployment among the youth in Tripura and the negative impact of drug abuse on society. Speakers emphasized the importance of providing employment opportunities to young people as a way to prevent them from falling into the trap of substance abuse.
MLA Sudip Roy Burman highlighted the need for government intervention to create more jobs and support small businesses in the state. He also called for increased awareness campaigns about the dangers of drug abuse and the importance of leading a healthy lifestyle.
The event concluded with a resolution to continue advocating for job creation and combating drug abuse in Tripura. Participants expressed their commitment to working together to address these pressing issues and improve the livelihoods of the youth in the region.
