Agartala: In a major event for the medical and academic community of the state, the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Tripura, Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha, is scheduled to inaugurate the 12th Annual State Conference, popularly known as ATOCON-2026, tomorrow, February 7, 2026. The prestigious conference will be held at Hotel Sonartari, Agartala, with the inaugural ceremony set to begin at 5:00 PM.
The conference is organized by the Agartala Tripura Orthopaedic State Chapter (a branch of the Indian Orthopaedic Association). It serves as the premier annual gathering for orthopedic surgeons, trauma specialists, and medical researchers from across the Northeast and other parts of India.

As a surgeon himself, Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha’s presence at ATOCON-2026 is highly anticipated. The conference aims to discuss the latest surgical innovations, technological advancements in joint replacement, and trauma management protocols.
The theme for this year’s conference focuses on “Precision in Trauma & Joint Care,” highlighting the state’s move toward robotic-assisted surgeries and specialized bone-health programs.
