A delegation of the Tripura Students’ Federation (TSF), led by its Vice President Jon Debbarma, met the Governor in person today to place a series of important demands concerning student welfare and indigenous rights. The meeting, held at the Raj Bhavan, focused on issues the organization claims require urgent attention from the state administration.
Speaking to the media after the discussion, Jon Debbarma elaborated on the demands raised and emphasized the need for swift action. He stated that the TSF remains committed to safeguarding the educational and socio-economic interests of indigenous students and urged the government to address the gaps affecting tribal communities.
The delegation expressed confidence that the Governor would take constructive steps following their submission. TSF leaders also reiterated their intention to continue democratic movements if their concerns are not adequately addressed.
