Acting on secret information, a joint team of Ramnagar Outpost police and Agartala West Police Station apprehended two drug peddlers along with a substantial quantity of Yaba tablets and a motorcycle. The swift operation, conducted late last night, led to the successful seizure and detention of the accused, who are now in police custody at West Police Station.
SDPO Debprasad Roy briefed the media, sharing detailed information about the raid, the recovery of the narcotics, and the ongoing investigation. He stated that the police had been tracking the movement of the suspects based on reliable intelligence inputs. The operation was carried out to curb the rising circulation of illegal drugs in the region.
