Agartala, Tripura: Protesting against alleged continued atrocities on Hindus in Bangladesh and the killing of Hindu citizen Dipu Chandra Das, a protest rally was organised on Wednesday by the Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Bajrang Dal in Agartala.
The rally began from the Anandamoyi Kalibari area of the city and proceeded towards the Akhaura Checkpost, where it was scheduled to conclude. Participants in the procession raised slogans demanding justice for Dipu Chandra Das and protection of minority rights in Bangladesh.
Organisers stated that the rally was aimed at drawing national and international attention to the plight of Hindus across the border and to express solidarity with the affected families. They urged the authorities to take diplomatic steps to ensure the safety and rights of minorities.
Security arrangements were put in place along the rally route to maintain law and order. The procession passed peacefully through designated areas under police supervision.
