In a major push to showcase the state’s developmental journey and the vision for a developed India by 2047, a three-day Mega Exhibition titled “Viksit Bharat Viksit Tripura” is being organized at the Agartala Children’s Park. The exhibition, which highlights various central and state government schemes and success stories, will be formally inaugurated by Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha.
Ahead of the grand opening, BJP State President Rajib Bhattacharjee held a press conference at the Agartala Press Club to share details about the event and its significance in connecting the common man with the government’s progress.
Focus of the Mega Exhibition
The exhibition is designed as an experiential journey for the public, featuring numerous stalls and pavilions from different government departments, PSUs, and self-help groups.
- Vision 2047: The main pavilion focuses on the roadmap for a ‘Viksit Bharat’ (Developed India) as envisioned by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
- Success of the Double-Engine Government: A dedicated section showcases the transformative changes in Tripura’s infrastructure, connectivity (HIRA model), and social welfare over the last few years.
- Youth & Innovation: Interactive displays on startups, AI, and skill development are set up to inspire the younger generation.
- Local Art & Culture: Stalls featuring ‘Vocal for Local’ initiatives, including Tripura’s unique bamboo and cane handicrafts, are a major draw.
Rajib Bhattacharjee’s Address to the Media
At the Agartala Press Club, BJP State President Rajib Bhattacharjee emphasized that the exhibition is not just a government display but a celebration of the people’s participation in development.
”Under the leadership of CM Dr. Manik Saha and the guidance of PM Modi, Tripura is progressing at an unprecedented pace. This ‘Viksit Bharat Viksit Tripura’ exhibition will provide a transparent view of how every rupee spent is reaching the last man in the queue (Antyodaya),” said Bhattacharjee.
He also urged the citizens of Agartala and surrounding areas to visit the Children’s Park over the next three days to witness the “New Tripura” in the making.
Event Schedule
The exhibition will be open to the public from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM daily. Cultural programs featuring local artists will be held in the evenings to highlight Tripura’s rich heritage. High-level security and amenities have been ensured at the Children’s Park to accommodate the large expected footfall.
