If there is any religion in the world that is the most secular, it is Hinduism. And it is this excessive secularism that is leading Hindus down the path of destruction today. Once the largest population in the world, Hindus now make up only 15% of the global population, reaching third place globally, where the Muslim population is 25% and the Christian population is 31%. The main reason for this decline is the presence of lifeless, self-forgetful, convenience-loving so-called ‘secular’ Hindus, who are nothing more than agents of the Islamic and Christian fundamentalists.
Abroad, fundamentalist Muslims and Christians want Hindus to appear weak, lose their identity, and therefore they praise these nonchalant, so-called generous Hindus. They lift people like Vivekanand from the crowd in Chicago, where the weakness, self-torment, and submission of Gandhian Hindus are discussed, as if the world knows – this nation does not know how to fight.
The same scenario can be seen in our country as well. A Hindu religious institution in Belur celebrated the birthday of a so-called “president” with a cake. The question arises – is this cake part of the culture? Is this ‘Happy Birthday’ intrinsic to Vedanta? Has the cutting of cakes ever been practiced among devotees? Where has this religion been brought to stand?
This same ‘president’ Babu rides in a million-dollar car, yet says – ‘I can’t sleep in the sorrow of the poor.’ The poor are still the same as before, only now their ‘service’ is being promoted in the language of advertisements and secular propaganda. The real goal of these self-proclaimed servants seems to be the same – to completely eradicate the self-confidence, self-identity, and cultural strength of Hindu society.
The time has come to recognize these secular MirJafars. If Hindu society does not wake up now, then in the pages of history, the story of a once ancient civilization will be written as a tale of destruction for us.
