On Tuesday, a conference was held at the Tribal Welfare Department in Toppshi for the second time in 2025 to review the budget allocated for the year. The state-level review meeting was chaired by the Minister of Tribal Welfare, Agriculture Development, and Fisheries Department, Sudhanshu Das.
Also present at the conference were the Secretary of the department, Deepa D. Nayar, and other officials. Discussions took place regarding how the budget allocated for the fiscal year 2025/26 has been utilized. In addition, there was an extensive discussion on the provision of scholarships for tribal students in Toppshi.
The conference aimed to assess the effectiveness of the budget allocation in meeting the needs of the tribal community and ensuring their welfare. The discussions also focused on ways to improve the implementation of various welfare schemes and programs for the tribal population in Toppshi.
