Today, 11 December, marks the 176th birth anniversary of Sri Sri Sarada Devi, the revered spiritual mother of the Ramakrishna Order. Ramakrishna Maths and Missions across Tripura organised various religious and social programmes to commemorate her life, teachings, and profound ideals.
Sri Sri Sarada Devi was born on 22 December 1853 in Jayrambati, West Bengal. She was the spiritual companion of Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa and is revered as the Holy Mother or Mata Thakurani, regarded as the embodiment of compassion and guidance. Devotees across generations consider her an ideal mother figure and a beacon of spiritual strength.
