News Report:
The organisation Amra Bangali staged a protest today raising multiple allegations, including reported inhuman atrocities against Bengalis in various states due to issues involving alleged infiltrators, and the controversial reference to Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyay as “Bankim Da” by the Prime Minister in Parliament.
Members of the organisation expressed strong displeasure over what they described as repeated disrespect toward Bengali icons and the alleged mistreatment of Bengali communities in different parts of the country. Protesters demanded immediate corrective action, public accountability, and stronger protection of Bengali cultural and linguistic identity.
Speakers at the protest criticised what they termed a pattern of negligence and urged both state and central authorities to address these concerns with seriousness.
The demonstration witnessed participation from supporters, cultural activists, and community members voicing solidarity with the organisation’s demands.
