During the ceremony, the Union Minister will virtually lay the foundation stones and inaugurate 179 rural development projects under the Rural Development Department and the Tripura Rural Livelihood Mission (TRLM). The total investment for these projects stands at a staggering ₹546.79 crore.
What is the G RAM G Act 2025?
Minister Kishor Barman explained that the new law is designed to accelerate socio-economic progress in line with the Prime Minister’s vision of a “Viksit Bharat” by 2047. Key features include:

- Asset Creation: Focus on building permanent rural infrastructure like Anganwadi centers, panchayat roads, and drinking water facilities.
“The G RAM G Act 2025 is a game-changer. Under the guidance of Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, provisions have been made to uplift 25 crore people from below the poverty line through this Act. Tomorrow, Tripura will lead this rural revolution,” Panchayat Minister Kishor Barman told reporters.
