Former Chief Minister and current Rajya Sabha MP Biplab Kumar Deb has sparked discussions with his recent remarks on the infrastructure development in Bangladesh. Deb highlighted that connectivity, urban planning, and transport logistics remain weak spots that need immediate attention for the region’s balanced progress.
“Development should be inclusive and sustainable. Strong infrastructure is the backbone of any growing nation,” said Deb during the session.
He also noted that India and Bangladesh’s cross-border connectivity projects can only achieve their full potential when both sides invest equally in durable infrastructure and efficient governance.
