During the meeting, CM Saha emphasized the importance of setting up an All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Tripura to improve healthcare facilities in the state. He also highlighted the need for international flight services to boost tourism and economic development in the region. Additionally, he requested concessions in the price of natural gas to make it more affordable for the people of Tripura.
Union DoNER Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia assured the Chief Minister of his support and stated that the Ministry would work towards addressing the concerns raised by CM Saha. He also commended the efforts of the North Eastern states in promoting investment and economic growth in the region.
The meeting concluded with a consensus on the need for continued collaboration between the central government and the state government to address the developmental challenges faced by Tripura.
