Agartala, February 16: In a major drug haul, Tripura police arrested two people and seized around 212 grams of heroin worth Rs 64 lakh at Bagbassa on Sunday.The police stated that they received a crucial tip-off regarding drug peddler, on the basis of the tip-off a police personnel from Bagbassa police station laid a trap and blocked the vehicle. During the search of the vehicle police officials found 18 soap cases packed with heroin, approximately 212 grams, with a market value of Rs 64 lakh, the police added.The arrested person has been identified as Salim Uddin and Rafil Ahmed.
