A daring group of thieves stole the car of the O.C (Officer-in-Charge) of the Vishalgarh Women’s Police Station on Monday night, causing a stir in the community. This time, the thieves brazenly targeted the police themselves. Two young men rode in on a scooter and made off with the car belonging to O.C Shilpi Das of the Vishalgarh Women’s Police Station. They forcibly pushed the driver out of the car on the busy Vishalgarh Agartala road, taking off with the vehicle. News of the incident reached the additional district police superintendent and the Vishalgarh police, who quickly sprang into action.
