Agartala, April 10, 2025: The Health and Family Welfare Department organized a state-level celebration of World Homeopathy Day 2025 at Pragna Bhavan in Agartala.
The event was graced by the presence of Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha, among other dignitaries. World Homeopathy Day is observed annually to raise awareness about homeopathy as a system of medicine and to commemorate the birth of its founder, Dr. Samuel Hahnemann.
Chief Minister Dr. Saha spoke about the importance of traditional medicine systems like homeopathy and their role in providing accessible and affordable healthcare to the people. He highlighted the government’s efforts to promote the integration of homeopathy with modern medicine and to strengthen the infrastructure for homeopathic treatment in the state.
The event also featured discussions on the latest advancements in homeopathic research and its effectiveness in treating various health conditions. Experts emphasized the need for further research and development in the field to enhance the efficacy and acceptance of homeopathy.
