In the cultural city, a disturbing scene unfolded late at night. A woman was found lying unconscious on the side of the road in a drunken state, but nobody came forward to help her in the city of Kailashahar, in the Unakoti district. Later on, a group of young men from another area rescued the woman and took her to the local hospital for treatment. The incident took place in the city of Kailashahar.
Late at night in the Boulapasha area of Kailashahar city, a woman was found lying on the main road, but passersby and local residents did not come forward to help her. Later, some young men from another part of the city attempted to speak with the woman when they saw her, but she was unable to respond due to excessive alcohol consumption. The men, feeling concerned, informed local news representatives and rushed to the scene. With the help of the news representatives, the men rescued the woman and took her to the Rajiv Gandhi Memorial District Hospital in Kailashahar for treatment.
Upon arrival at the hospital, the woman behaved inappropriately and indecently with the hospital staff and security guards, prompting Dr. Sukanta Sen Chowdhury, the Officer-in-Charge of Kailashahar Police Station, to be informed of the incident. The police then took the woman to the police station.
The incident in the cultural city of Kailashahar has raised concerns among the residents. It seems like the city is slowly turning into a city of romance. Young girls are engaging in alcohol consumption with boyfriends or others, leading to incidents where they are left on the streets. A similar incident was witnessed in the Boulapasha area of the city on April 21st, mirroring an incident that occurred five months prior, where a young woman was rescued by the police near the mute school in the city.
The incidents of rescuing intoxicated young women in the streets of the cultural city have left the entire community worried. The city’s elderly citizens are alarmed by the increasing number of such incidents. Dr. Debasish, a retired government doctor, has stated that these incidents are evidence of social decay in the cultural city of Kailashahar. Previously, alcohol consumption was limited among men, but now even women are consuming alcohol. Teenagers are importing foreign cultures, leading to a devaluation of education and excessive use of mobile phones, according to Dr. Debasish.
