Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha announced on Thursday that the state government is in the process of drafting a comprehensive transfer policy for its 1,04,683 government employees. The goal of this policy is to ensure an equitable distribution of postings across the state, with provisions to accommodate special cases as needed.
During the inauguration of the newly constructed building of Madhupur Higher Secondary School in Sepahijala district, Saha emphasized the importance of transparency and clarity in government operations. He stated that no employee will be allowed to remain in the same location for an extended period, highlighting the government’s commitment to fair and efficient governance.
Saha also highlighted the efforts of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in promoting development and inclusive growth in India. He emphasized the government’s focus on education, noting that both the state and central governments are prioritizing improvements in the education sector. In addition to infrastructure projects like the new school building in Madhupur, initiatives are being implemented to enhance facilities for students, improve teaching methodologies, and provide training programs for teachers to ensure quality education.
The Chief Minister’s announcement comes as part of a larger effort to modernize and streamline government operations in Tripura. By implementing a comprehensive transfer policy, the state government aims to enhance efficiency, promote fairness, and support the overall development of the region.
