AGARTALA: The Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE) officially declared the results for the 2026 Madhyamik (Class 10) and Higher Secondary (Class 12) examinations today. During a high-profile press conference held at the Board’s office, TBSE President Dr. Dhananjay Gon Choudhury announced the performance statistics, marking a significant day for over 68,000 students across the state.
Following the announcement at 12:00 PM, students were able to access their provisional scorecards online starting from 12:30 PM through the official portals.
Performance Overview: Success at a Glance
This year, approximately 38,135 students appeared for the Madhyamik exams, while nearly 29,943 candidates sat for the Higher Secondary (HS) examinations. The overall pass percentage showed a steady performance compared to previous years.
Key Statistics Released Today:
- Madhyamik (Class 10) Pass Percentage: 84.18%
- Higher Secondary (Class 12) Pass Percentage: 79.33%
- Merit List Update: Interestingly, the Board chose not to publish a formal merit list this year, citing specific administrative reasons.

During the press meet, the TBSE President congratulated the successful candidates and their teachers for their hard work throughout the academic session (February–March 2026).

While the results available today are provisional, they allow students to plan their next academic steps immediately. How to Check Results and Download Marksheets
Students can now download their provisional marksheets by submitting their Roll Number and Registration Number on the following official websites:

Important Note for Students: The online results are for immediate reference. Original marksheets and certificates will be distributed through respective schools in the coming weeks. Candidates who are not satisfied with their results will have the opportunity to apply for Review/Scrutiny within the stipulated time frame announced by the Board.
Supplementary Examination Timeline
For students who were unable to clear certain subjects, the Board announced a tentative schedule for the supplementary exams:
- Supplementary Exam: Expected in July 2026.
- Supplementary Result: Likely to be declared in August 2026.
The atmosphere at the Board office remained positive, with officials noting that the digital infrastructure successfully handled the heavy traffic of students checking their results simultaneously.
