On Sunday, the Rotary Club of Amarpur, in collaboration with the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), organized a blood donation camp at the Adorni T Estate in Agartala, near the CRPF Group Center. The Rotary Club of Amarpur aims to serve their own community, providing humanitarian services and working towards the welfare of society.
The blood donation camp was organized with the goal of upholding the Club’s commitment to serving humanity and fulfilling the crucial need for blood supply at local blood banks. Today, CRPF personnel and Rotarians participated in the camp, emphasizing the importance of voluntary blood donation.
In today’s blood donation camp, Rotarian Sanjibon Datta fulfilled his promise to donate his body to the Agartala Government Medical College after his death. The Chief Guest and inaugurator of the event was the state’s Chief Minister, Professor Dr. Manik Saha. Also present were Dr. Damodar Chattopadhyay, President of the Rotary Club of Amarpur, Secretary Jhumur Banik Sengupta, and IG CRPF Bimal Kumar Biswas, among others.
