“His Teachings Remain a Beacon for Global Struggles”: Jitendra Choudhury
Addressing the party workers during the memorial discussion, Leader of the Opposition Jitendra Choudhury highlighted the historical parallel between Ho Chi Minh’s historic resistance against colonial forces and the contemporary political challenges in the country.
”Comrade Ho Chi Minh was not just the architect of modern, independent Vietnam; he remains a timeless symbol of resilience against oppression for the working class globally. He proved that even the mightiest imperialist powers can be defeated through sheer public unity and structured grassroots determination. In today’s political climate, where democratic institutions face constant friction, his life, teachings, and philosophy continue to inspire our fight for the rights of the common masses,” Shri Jitendra Choudhury stated.
A Legacy of Incorruptible Leadership
Other speakers at the event reflected on the simplistic lifestyle and uncompromising values of “Uncle Ho” (as Ho Chi Minh was affectionately known). They noted that his strategic vision during the Vietnamese national liberation movement continues to be a core subject of study for political analysts and socialist researchers worldwide.
The day-long observation concluded with revolutionary songs performed by the cultural wing of the party, emphasizing the message of international solidarity against capitalist exploitation.
