SURYAMANINAGAR | June 10, 2026: Marking a historic national milestone as Prime Minister Narendra Modi enters his 12th uninterrupted year in office and becomes India’s longest-serving continuously elected Prime Minister, a special prayer and worship ceremony was organized today in the Suryamaninagar assembly constituency.
The celebratory event, arranged by the 18-Suryamaninagar Mandal, took place at the revered Rakshakali Temple located inside the Tripura University campus. Local party leaders, workers, and devotees gathered in large numbers to offer special puja and prayers, wishing for the excellent health, well-being, and long life of the Prime Minister.
Celebrating Unprecedented National Development
The auspicious event was graced by the MLA of 18-Suryamaninagar constituency, Ramprasad Pal, alongside Dukli Block Chairman Bhulan Saha, and other key Mandal functionaries.
Addressing the gathering at the temple premises, the speakers praised the Prime Minister’s dynamic leadership and highlighted the comprehensive, welfare-oriented developmental stride independent India has taken under his governance over the last 12 years.
”Under the far-sighted leadership of PM Narendra Modi, our country has witnessed massive transformation, economic growth, and the execution of life-changing pro-poor welfare schemes. Today, we collectively prayed at the feet of Maa Rakshakali for his sound health so that he can continue to guide our nation toward absolute self-reliance,” MLA Ramprasad Pal stated.
The local leadership emphasized that the various central schemes have seamlessly penetrated the grass-roots level in Tripura, significantly elevating the standard of living for marginalized and rural communities across the state. The event concluded with the distribution of prasad among all attendees and local residents who joined the spiritual assembly.
