AGARTALA | June 15, 2026: In a bid to protect job seekers from falling prey to financial fraud, IT and software development firm Incisky Softtech Private Limited hosted an emergency press conference at the Agartala Press Club today.
Addressing media persons on behalf of the company, senior official Tanushree Roy revealed that a group of dishonest individuals and scam syndicates are actively misusing the corporate name and goodwill of the institution to run widespread extortion rackets, particularly through social media platforms like Facebook.
Cyber Fraudsters Targeting Job Seekers with Fake Ads
According to the corporate management, several fake recruitment notices, forged offer letters, and deceptive advertisements have recently surfaced online. These fraudulent schemes promise guaranteed placements within Incisky Softtech in exchange for “security deposits” or “processing fees.”
Tanushree Roy clarified that the organization has no connection with these malicious third-party entities and urged the public to remain highly cautious before sharing sensitive personal data or making online payments.
”A few unscrupulous elements are running a organized scam by misusing our registered corporate identity. They are uploading completely fake job vacancies on various Facebook groups and marketplace pages to cheat unemployed youth. We want to state unequivocally that Incisky Softtech never demands money, processing charges, or security deposits at any stage of its recruitment process. All official openings are routed strictly through our verified company channels,” Tanushree Roy explained during the media briefing.
Legal and Police Action Initiated
Taking serious note of the digital forgery and financial extortion attempts, the management of Incisky Softtech confirmed that they have formally lodged a cyber crime complaint with the Tripura Police. The company has handed over multiple fraudulent URLs, screenshot evidence, and suspicious bank account numbers provided by affected victims to help the cyber cell trace the masterminds.
The corporate body concluded the briefing by advising candidates to cross-verify any job offer by visiting the company’s official corporate desk or contacting their verified human resource department directly, rather than relying on unauthorized social media circulars.
