AGARTALA | AUGUST 25, 2026: In a major crackdown on illegal drug networks, the East Agartala Police Station conducted a targeted raid in the Collegetilla area, seizing 55 grams of high-grade heroin and arresting one individual involved in the trafficking operation. A mobile phone was also confiscated from the suspect.
Police estimates place the black-market value of the seized contraband at approximately ₹3 crore.
