AGARTALA | July 3, 2026: In a significant move aimed at honoring one of India’s foremost statesmen, the Agartala Municipal Corporation (AMC) has officially decided to install a grand bronze bust of Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee in front of the Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Town Hall. Additionally, the AMC has resolved to name the newly constructed, corporation-managed Agartala Civil Hospital at Jackson Gate (Kasari Patti) as the “Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee Civil Hospital.”
