A rare and shy monkey was found in the home of Suraj Ali in the village of Yubrajnagar, in the second ward of the local Panchayat on Thursday night. The monkey, which is usually found deep in the forest, was spotted by the family at the door of Suraj Ali’s house. Although the family managed to capture the monkey, they were unable to contact the forest department as Suraj Ali did not have any contact number. Even this morning, no one from the forest department has come to the scene, which has angered the local residents.
It is worth mentioning that the shy monkey is a protected and endangered species. According to experts, due to deforestation, such animals are increasingly coming into human habitats. The residents of the area have demanded prompt action from the forest department.
