AGARTALA | AUGUST 29, 2026: To honor the memory and legacy of the historic Food Movement martyrs—Dilip, Tarun, and Aravinda—as well as youth leaders Rajyeswar and Sumitra Sinha, a voluntary blood donation camp was organized in Agartala on Saturday.
Jointly organized by the Students’ Federation of India (SFI) and the Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI) Dukli Divisional Committee, the social initiative was held at the CPI(M) Dukli Sub-Divisional Office premises.

- Honorary Tribute: The event commenced with floral tributes paid to the portraits of the martyrs, recalling their supreme sacrifices in defending democratic rights, subsidized food access, and youth welfare in Tripura.
- Blood Donation Drive: A total of 21 volunteers and young activists voluntarily donated blood during the drive to assist state blood banks in mitigating critical seasonal shortages.
