AGARTALA: The Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE) officially declared the results of the Bachar Bachao (Save a Year) examinations for Class 10 (Madhyamik) and Class 12 (Higher Secondary) on Thursday, July 30, 2026.
The results were formally announced during a press conference held at the TBSE Board auditorium by Board President Dr. Dhananjoy Gon Choudhury, Secretary Dr. Jaideep Bhattacharjee, and Officer on Special Duty (OSD) Nilmadhab Saha. With this announcement, the complete examination process for the academic year 2026 has been successfully concluded.
Key Result Highlights
- Madhyamik (Class 10) Pass Rate Increases: A total of 239 candidates passed the Bachar Bachao examination, pushing the overall Madhyamik pass percentage up from 84.18% to 84.93%.
- Higher Secondary (Class 12) Performance: With 350 students clearing the supplementary exam, the overall Class 12 pass percentage increased from 79.33% to 80.65%.
- Standard Mathematics Statistics: In the Madhyamik Standard Mathematics paper, 39 students appeared for the examination, out of which 36 students successfully passed.
- 100% Pass Rate Schools: Following the declaration of the Bachar Bachao results, a total of 292 schools achieved a 100% pass rate in Madhyamik, while 66 schools recorded a 100% pass rate in Higher Secondary.
Speaking at the conference, TBSE officials praised the success of the Bachar Bachao initiative, stating that it has effectively provided students with an immediate second opportunity to save an academic year without compromising their educational progression.
