Agartala, June 23: The Chief Minister of Tripura, Dr. Manik Saha, led a ceremony at the BJP state party office on Monday to commemorate Balidan Diwas, a day dedicated to honoring the sacrifice of nationalist leader Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee. Dr. Mukherjee, who dedicated his life to the unity and integrity of India, passed away on this day, and his legacy continues to inspire generations.
During the ceremony, Dr. Saha emphasized the significant contribution of Dr. Mukherjee to the nation, praising him as a visionary leader whose ideals continue to shape the values of the country. “Dr. Mukherjee’s vision of a united India and his unwavering belief in the importance of sacrifice for the nation serve as a reminder of our responsibility to serve with dedication and selflessness,” the Chief Minister stated.
