Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha on Thursday felicitated meritorious students from minority communities at a special programme organised by the State Government’s Minority Welfare Department at Pragna Bhavan, reaffirming the government’s commitment to inclusive development and social upliftment.Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Saha said that India is progressing steadily towards becoming a “Developed Nation” under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, with a strong focus on ensuring equal opportunities for all sections of society. He added that the Tripura government is actively working to strengthen the education sector, promote skill development, and empower youth to contribute meaningfully to the state’s growth.The Chief Minister praised the achievements of the award-winning students, calling them a source of inspiration for others. He emphasised that young talents are the backbone of the nation and will play a decisive role in building a stronger and more self-reliant Tripura.Dr. Saha also assured continued support through welfare-driven initiatives aimed at nurturing talent and creating a more inclusive and empowered society across the state.
