First-Time Cut-Off Policy Implemented for Transparency
Addressing the media representatives, Board Chairman Dr. Subhadip Pal highlighted a structural policy upgrade introduced this year to enhance transparency and academic evaluation parameters.
”For the first time in the board’s history, we have successfully introduced a mandatory baseline cut-off mark of 10 out of 360 for script evaluations. This filtration process ensures that only academically deserving candidates move ahead into the professional allocation pool. Under this new format, 1,745 candidates secured merit positions in the PCM group, while 119 fell short of the cut-off. In the PCB group, 3,684 students successfully made it onto the merit charts, while 189 were excluded for failing to touch the base scoring line,” Chairman Dr. Subhadip Pal briefed journalists.
What’s Next? Online Counselling and Document Checks
The board confirmed that students can immediately access their detailed subject-wise marks, common merit ranks, and scanned copies of their checked OMR answer keys by logging into the official portal using their personal credentials.
The official portal (tbjee.tripura.gov.in) will launch its centralized online registration link for the choice-filling and counselling process within a few days. Qualified candidates are advised to keep their permanent residency certificates (PRTC), category certificates, and intermediate marksheets ready for the online verification rounds scheduled for June.
