AGARTALA | AUGUST 23, 2026: To mark Autonomous District Council (ADC) Day, leaders and workers of the Tripura Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) gathered at the party state headquarters, Congress Bhavan in Agartala, to pay floral tributes to former Prime Minister late Indira Gandhi.
The event commemorated the historic constitutional recognition of the Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC) under the Sixth Schedule of the Indian Constitution, initiated under Indira Gandhi’s tenure in 1984.
