AGARTALA: Setting the stage for its upcoming state-level convention, the Tripura Pratibandhi Adhikar Mancha organized a crucial meeting of its preparatory committee at the Chhatra Yuva Bhavan in Agartala today. The meeting focused on reviewing organizational strategies, finalizing the schedule, and delegating responsibilities to ensure the smooth execution of the state conference.
The high-level meeting was presided over by prominent senior leader and the Chairman of the Preparatory Committee, Pabitra Kar.
Alongside him, the Vice-Chairman of the Preparatory Committee and a stalwart of the state’s mass democratic movements, Sudhan Das, was also present on the dais. A large number of committee members, rights activists, and representatives working for the welfare of specially-abled citizens across Tripura attended the session.
During the meeting, the leadership emphasized the urgent need to intensify the movement for the rights, dignity, and socio-economic security of specially-abled individuals in the state. The leaders discussed key issues including the demand for enhanced monthly allowances, equal employment opportunities, proper implementation of reservation quotas, and creating barrier-free public infrastructure.
Both Pabitra Kar and Sudhan Das called upon all members to work with dedication at the grassroots level to ensure maximum participation from every subdivision, making the upcoming state conference a resounding success.
