AGARTALA: In a major push to elevate Tripura’s tourism sector on the global map, Tourism Minister Sushanta Chowdhury held a high-level interactive meeting with prominent investors and stakeholders today. The strategic meet took place at the headquarters of the Tripura Tourism Development Corporation in Agartala.
The primary objective of this interactive session was to explore new investment opportunities, enhance existing tourism infrastructure, and discuss public-private partnership (PPP) models to drive economic growth through tourism in the state.
During the meeting, Minister Sushanta Chowdhury emphasized the state government’s commitment to creating an investor-friendly environment in Tripura. He highlighted the untapped potential of Tripura’s scenic landscapes, religious sites, and cultural heritage, urging investors to come forward and contribute to building world-class eco-tourism resorts, adventure sports facilities, and hospitality services.
”Tripura is rapidly transforming into a prime tourist destination. We are offering lucrative incentives and a seamless single-window clearance system for investors who want to partner with us in redefining Tripura’s tourism landscape,” stated Minister Sushanta Chowdhury.
The investors present at the meet shared valuable feedback, discussed logistical feasibility, and expressed strong interest in collaborating with the Tripura Tourism Department on several upcoming landmark projects.
