Agartala, Tripura: In a vibrant display of creativity and youthful talent, the West Tripura District Administration, in collaboration with the District Administration Recreation Club, organized a mega Art Competition on Sunday at the West Tripura District Office premises. The event was officially inaugurated by the District Magistrate (DM) of West Tripura, Dr. Vishal Kumar, alongside key officials from the Recreation Club.
The competition saw an overwhelming response, with approximately 450 children from various age groups participating. The young artists filled the venue with colors, showcasing their imagination on paper. Speaking to journalists during the event, Dr. Vishal Kumar emphasized the importance of co-curricular activities in a child’s holistic development. He stated that such initiatives by the Recreation Club aim to provide a platform for local talent to flourish beyond academic boundaries.
The event was graced by the presence of the Recreation Club’s Secretary, Dipankar Datta, along with Gautam Debnath and other senior officials. The organizers highlighted that the District Administration remains committed to fostering community engagement and supporting the creative pursuits of the younger generation in Agartala.
