State government officials in Tripura are actively seeking additional financial support from the 16th Finance Commission to address critical infrastructure needs in the Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC). During a significant meeting held in New Delhi, Finance Minister Pranjit Singh Roy outlined a series of key demands aimed at boosting the overall development of the state and improving essential infrastructure.
Minister Roy highlighted the infrastructural challenges faced by Tripura, particularly the disruptions caused by heavy monsoon rains that affect road and rail connectivity.
