Agartala, Nov. 22:
In a display of concern and solidarity, several prominent leaders of the Bharatiya Janata Party visited ILS Hospital, Agartala, today to check on the health condition of Rajib Bhattacharjee, the State BJP President and Rajya Sabha MP, who is currently undergoing treatment.
Among the visiting dignitaries were Biplab Kumar Deb, Member of Parliament and former Chief Minister of Tripura; Bhagwan Chandra Das, State BJP General Secretary; and Gopal Chandra Roy, Member of the Legislative Assembly.
The leaders met with the doctors and family members to inquire about Bhattacharjee’s health status and wished him a speedy recovery. They expressed their support and stated that the entire party stands firmly behind him during this difficult time.
Speaking to the media, Biplab Kumar Deb said, “Rajib ji has been a dedicated leader and a pillar of strength for our organization. We are hopeful that he will recover soon and return to his responsibilities.”
The visit drew widespread attention, reflecting the significance of Bhattacharjee’s role in state politics and the strong bond of camaraderie among party members.
According to hospital sources, his condition is stable, although he will remain under observation for the next few days.
