Agartala, Tripura: In a profound display of spiritual devotion and Vedic tradition, a grand Navagraha Yagya was successfully conducted on Sunday at the historic Agartala Durga Bari premises. The religious event was jointly organized by the Kajal Astrological Research Society and the Sanatan Jyotish College, drawing a massive gathering of devotees and astrology enthusiasts from across the city.
The Navagraha Yagya, a sacred ritual performed to appease the nine celestial bodies that influence human life, commenced early in the morning with the chanting of powerful Vedic mantras. The organizers stated that the primary objective of this collective prayer was to invoke planetary peace, seek universal well-being, and mitigate the “Graha Doshas” (planetary afflictions) in the lives of the faithful.
The atmosphere at the Durga Bari temple, which is a significant cultural landmark of the Manikya dynasty, was filled with incense and spiritual energy as devotees participated in the offerings. Senior members and expert astrologers from both institutions led the rituals, explaining the significance of the “Nine Planets” in the Sanatan Dharma and the role of spiritual science in modern life. The event concluded with the distribution of Prasad, leaving the attendees with a sense of peace and divine grace.
