The meeting, presided over by State BJYM President and MLA Sushanta Deb, focused on disseminating the “youth-centric” benefits of Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman’s budget to every household in the state.
The core agenda of today’s gathering was to finalize the roadmap for a grand State-Level Youth Convention scheduled to take place at the Agartala Town Hall on February 7, 2026.
Empowering the ‘Amrit Peedhi’
During the meeting, the Yuva Morcha leadership hailed the budget’s focus on the “Amrit Peedhi” (the youth). Specific discussions were held regarding:

“Our goal is to ensure that the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047 reaches the grassroots. On February 7th, we will gather thousands of karyakartas to pledge our commitment toward a ‘Shrestha Tripura’ powered by this visionary budget,” stated BJYM President Sushanta Deb.
