AGARTALA | June 20, 2026: To address the seasonal shortage of blood in state-run blood banks and promote corporate social responsibility (CSR) within the local tech ecosystem, ILOGITRON Technology Private Limited successfully organized a voluntary blood donation camp today. The humanitarian initiative was hosted at the IT Bhavan complex in Indranagar, Agartala.
The event was formally inaugurated by the Honorable Minister for Transport, Tourism, and Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs, Government of Tripura, Shri Pranajit Singha Roy, who attended the camp as the Chief Guest.
Tech Community Steps Forward for Social Cause
The IT Bhavan premises witnessed an enthusiastic turnout as software engineers, IT professionals, management staff from ILOGITRON, and tech enthusiasts from neighboring digital firms lined up to donate blood.
Sharing the platform with the Minister were senior administrative officials from the Directorate of Information Technology, local municipal representatives, and the executive board members of ILOGITRON Technology Private Limited.
In his address to the gathering, Minister Pranajit Singha Roy highly lauded the tech firm’s proactive step and emphasized that corporate entities must continually align with vital healthcare initiatives.
”It is deeply encouraging to see our young IT workforce and local tech enterprises like ILOGITRON step out of their technical domains to contribute to this noble life-saving cause. Blood donation is the ultimate service to humanity, and such camps are critical to strengthening our emergency healthcare infrastructure. I congratulate the management and donors for setting an exemplary standard for the corporate sector in Tripura,” Minister Pranajit Singha Roy stated during his inaugural address.
Overwhelming Response from IT Professionals
The medical team supervising the donation drive reported an overwhelming response, collecting a substantial number of units from voluntary donors. The collected blood units were immediately transferred to the central state inventory to assist patients undergoing emergency surgeries and thalassemic individuals.
The organizing committee of ILOGITRON Technology Private Limited concluded the drive by distributing donor certificates and tokens of appreciation, reaffirming their commitment to hosting similar community-centric health and educational welfare campaigns in the capital city moving forward.
